LA Times Magazine names the 50 most beautiful women in film
The LA Times Magazine has published a list of the 50 most beautiful women in film - and Louise Brooks is number six. Of her near contemporaries, only Greta Garbo (#16) and Hedy Lamarr (#27) made the list. The complete list can be found at
Wrong, on all counts. They have Louise at #6, which is just so wrong. Adjani and Bellucci might be a close 2nd and 3rd, but seriously folks... Bardot, Bassinger and Berry aren't even close. And the results from the fans??? Outrageous. Perhaps it's because the picture they used of Louise, while one of my favorites, isn't the one they should have used in the voting. Tsk tsk tsk... you people don't know what you're missing.
This is a ranking very curious!
